- Serato DJ can capture recordings of the mix output for most controllers. Click the REC button to open the Recording Panel in Serato DJ. This is located in the top left hand area of the main screen.Recording is not possible for the Numark MixDeck and MixDeck Express.
- Hi, i use SL1 to record my commercial mixes. The result and the quality is so perfect. But in SL1 you need to use it as a recorder only, you can't play threw the serato to mix your tracks, that means you have to use normal CD decks or Vinyl decks.

When I save my Serato Scratch Live mixes as Ableton Live Sets (.als), where are they stored? You can find your Serato Scratch Live mixes in the Recording folder, which is in the following locations by default. Garageband alt for mac download.
