Mix Out PointsNot so much used for triggering but for giving you a visual reference. Cue point adjust djay pro. Firstly, you may want to skip the intro to drop the track without mixing it in. Secondly, it can serve as a handy visual cue to assist with knowing when to fade out of the previous playing track's vocals to avoid clashing.

Big is a relative term. At overly high amplitudes, high frequencies pierce and low frequencies shake. At the right amplitude levels, high frequencies tell us a story and low frequencies hold us while we listen. Izotope gain staging chart. Relative versus absoluteIf something is relative, it’s dependent on other things similar to it. If you look at a tree and think to yourself, that’s a big tree, what you’re saying is that it's big relative to other trees around it, or to other trees you’ve seen before.

Using Studio One 3 Pro under Windows 10, I have been searching and cannot find an answer to this question. I've imported an MP3 file which creates a single track in my song. I simply want a section of that track to loop, so I can learn that part of the song.
How do you loop playback of a section of a track?

Hey Bernie
First you need to set the loop markers. Move your mouse to the timeline above the session window until your mouse pointer turns into a pencil. Then you can click and hold while you drag it the lenght you want (always from left to right). You can just drag the start/end markers as you want afterwards aswell
Once you have the markers, you turn on the loop by clicking on the right of the record button, it should be names 'Loop active'. Can also be toggled by the '/' on your numpad
This should do the trick
Hope this helps

Asked Apr 4, 2016 in Studio One 3 by danielkucharski (1,100 points) I'm a recent Studio One 3 Pro convert from Logic Pro X since i needed greater integration with my faderport (very convenient); and there are several shortcuts that do not immediately appear in Studio One. • A-Z of Studio One: L is for Loop Record Options Modern electronic music often relies heavily on loops to structure. Many times the drums are built from loops, basses are loops, even keyboard parts and vocals can be comprised of loops.

I understand how to setup a loop for either listening or recording, but how on earth do I get rid of it? I can click the 'loop active' icon at the bottom to bypass the looping, but how to permanetly delete the loop from the time line when I am finished with it?
thanks
phil
